Anne of Avonlea

Return to Prince Edward Island with Anne Shirley in the beloved sequel to Anne of Green Gables. Now a spirited young teacher at the Avonlea school, Anne throws her whole heart into guiding imaginative pupils, wrangling the mischievous Davy and sweet Dora, and helping Marilla keep Green Gables running smoothly. From the well-meaning chaos of the Avonlea Village Improvement Society to neighborly tangles with Mr. Harrison and his outspoken parrot, Anne discovers that growing up means balancing big dreams with everyday duty—without losing the sparkle that makes her Anne. Narrated with warmth and wit by Melissa-Marie Shriner, this performance captures the island’s windswept beauty, Anne’s quicksilver humor, and the tender friendships and first stirrings of romance that shape her path. Meet unforgettable characters like the dreamy Paul Irving and gentle Miss Lavendar, revisit cherished friends, and savor a story rich with laughter, heart, and home. Ideal for family listening and fans of classic literature, Anne of Avonlea is a comforting, joy-filled journey back to Avonlea—where kindness, courage, and imagination never go out of style.
