About
About Jane Austen
Jane Austen lived most of her life in Hampshire, England, and published her novels anonymously. Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Prejudice, Mansfield Park, Emma, Northanger Abbey and Persuasion follow young women in the English gentry, with sharp irony about money and marriage. They are among the most loved and most adapted novels in English.
