- Who runs Academy Voices?
- Anthony Pica, a working voice actor and audiobook narrator, through Anthony Pica Productions, LLC in Gloucester, Virginia. A small team helps him: Gabby runs casting and Angela runs publishing.
- How long have you been publishing audiobooks?
- Since 2023. We've published 810 audiobooks, sold on nearly 50 retailers, libraries and streaming services, including Audible, Apple Books and Spotify, and in our own store.
- Who are your narrators?
- Real people, every one. Anthony reviews and approves every narrator's profile and demos before they can be cast, and every narrator signs our Certified Human Voice™ promise. You can hear them on our roster.
- Do I own my audiobook?
- Yes. If you're an author, the audiobook is yours whichever way you pay. You approve a 15-minute sample before the full recording, and you approve the finished audiobook before it's published.
- Can I talk to a real person?
- Yes. Send us a message and Anthony or the team will write back, usually the same day.
