About Lewis Carroll

Lewis Carroll was the pen name of Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, a mathematics lecturer at Oxford. Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (1865) and Through the Looking-Glass began as stories told to Alice Liddell and her sisters. His nonsense verse, from "Jabberwocky" to The Hunting of the Snark, is still quoted everywhere.
