Richard Le Gallienne

Richard Le Gallienne was an English author and poet. He was the father of the actress Eva Le Gallienne, from his second marriage to the Danish journalist Julie Nørregaard. His writing was popular in the 1890s, and he later lived in the United States. The Haunted Orchard is a short fantasy. He was part of the London literary scene of the 1890s and wrote poems, essays and novels. In his later years he moved to the United States and then to France.
