Wallace D. Wattles was an American writer in the New Thought movement. Little is known about his life, but his books have stayed in print. The Science of Getting Rich, published in 1910, argues that wealth comes from thinking and acting in a certain way, and that anyone can follow its method. It has influenced many later self help and motivational authors. He died in 1911.
