About
The voice you've been hearing in your head while you read him? That's the one I bring to the booth. I'm Lucas Chitwood, an award-nominated, full-time voice actor with a deep, warm voice that has a little grit to it. Romance is my home base. I narrate male leads in both dual and duet productions, and I bring the same grounded presence to thriller, suspense, fantasy, and nonfiction. Before voiceover I worked as an EMT and handled security for touring rock bands, so the protective, steady, slightly dangerous men in these books aren't a stretch for me. I play them grounded and real instead of performed. I record in my own professional studio and treat my co-narrator and the author as partners, so the chemistry you hear on the page comes through in your ears.
