Hi, I’m Wren – voice actor / narrator. My voice has been described as a Dark Bourbon - deep smokey grit with a smooth finish, and lends itself to intimate storytelling, quiet tension, and characters with a few stories of their own to tell. I enjoy reading poetry, suspense, horror, classics, and fantasy, exploring the rhythm and atmosphere that give each its distinctive pull. From the measured cadence of a poem to the creeping unease of a dark passage or the whimsy of an imagined world, I look for the emotion beneath the words to guide the performance. My pro studio features Neumann U87, U47 and Sennheiser MKH416 microphones, Grace preamps and an RME interface. Logic Pro and iZotope RX12 for editing and mastering, My audio production edits bring careful attention to clarity, consistency, and are mastered to the technical specifications of AV (Academy Voices) and ACX standards.
