Script Prep

A full prep pack for your manuscript, before you step into the booth.

Script Prep turns your manuscript into a prep pack: who every character is and how they might sound, every name and hard word with how to say it, a chapter-by-chapter breakdown and the scenes to be ready for. Then you mark up the script yourself, giving each character a color, and download it to read from.

  2. Get back the prep pack: summary, chapters, characters, pronunciations, pacing and content notes.
  3. Add your own notes to any character or word.
  4. Highlight each character's lines in their own color, then download the script as Word or PDF.
What you get

What the Script Prep does

  • Character sheet: age, background, relationships and voicing hints (pitch, pace, accent, verbal habits).
  • A list of names that are easy to confuse mid-read.
  • Pronunciation guide: proper nouns, unusual words and foreign phrases, each with a respelling, phonetic spelling, meaning, the sentence it appears in, and links to hear it said.
  • Chapter breakdown: setting, summary, characters, word count and estimated recording time.
  • Pacing notes and content notes, so a hard scene never surprises you mid-session.
  • Dialogue highlighting you control: click a character, click their lines, each in its own color. Download as Word or PDF.
