About this audiobook

Cast out without pay after years of service, a wounded soldier stumbles into a witch’s trap—and a well where a blue flame burns without end. When its smoke summons a formidable black dwarf bound to his will, he seizes a chance to turn betrayal into power. From midnight tasks forced upon a princess to a thunderous reckoning in the king’s court, this is a swift, striking journey from ruin to royalty, laced with dark wit and ironclad justice. Marcus Locke’s evocative narration brings the Brothers Grimm to life with atmosphere and urgency, illuminating a world of treachery, magic, and hard-won triumph. The Blue Light is a timeless tale for listeners who crave classic folklore with sharp edges and satisfying payback.
